    7 - Cables

    verypink knits

This video explains a basic right leaning cable twist. This means that the stitches on the top of the twist go from left to right and you will hold the cable needle in the back while you create the twist. If your pattern calls for a left leaning cable twist, simply hold the cable needle to the front instead of the back and continue with the tutorial as normal.
For the cable needle she suggests in the video check out the Brittany Cable Needles

    8 - Buttonholes

    verypink knits

This video explains how to make buttonholes and is useful if you've never made them before or it's been a while since you've used the technique.

    9 - Lifelines

    verypink knits

Lifelines can be just that. They can save you if you need to rip out many rows when working in a difficult stitch pattern like lace.
